Dings Heroes and Legends
This is a completely new section if you would like to appear here, or know of anyone who
you think deserves a place, they could be a past player, maybe no longer at the club or not
even with us at all, then Email us and we will do our best to put something together for
you, using club records for dates, appearances and playing photograph (if available).
Whilst I do not necessarily consider myself to be neither a legend or much of a hero I
have started the ball rolling to give you an idea of how it will appear.

Richard Fackrell
1982 - 85
Played junior rugby for Cotham Park, reaching the
U15 Glos Cup final, then followed the family
tradition and joined Dings when Cotham Park
moved from Filton. Played in the lower senior
sides at Dings for three seasons, going on the
84 tour to Weymouth before being struck down
two months shy of his 19th birthday, never to
play again.
